I formatted my card with the program you recommended in your previous posts. I tried your approach but it didn't work for me, still freezes but I guess the problem lies in the files retrogamefan referred to.

Hey guys, I've encountered a problem which I wasn't able to solve yet. As far as i understand the best firmware in this package for combatibility is the ysm3. So I tried to start different games but in the process of starting the firmware freezes. I have a M3 Real and I formatted my card but it didn't change anything. Hopefully someone can help me =)

ok so i've applied this guide to a wii of a friend of mine. He bought it in the US. Here he sent it to a shop which swapped the modchip he had in his old wii to his new one and they updated his Firmware from 3.2U to 4.2E. So i just followed the guide installed everthing exactly how it was stated. Well it just looks like it works fine well except I can't start games from the disc channel. I always get blackscreens. So what can I do ?
