Hello,
Got a good Japanese friend living in the US, and want to buy him a 3DS at lauch for his Birthday.
I'm trying to find a Japanese online that ships to the US. I had a look at Japanese Amazon, but it was 50.000 yen, which I think its double the price.
Somewhere that ships via ems/fedex/dhl/ups, and somewhere that stocks some games as well (since the damn thing is region locked)
Thanks

New M3i Production run
25 August 2010 - 01:44 PM
M3i have changed their hardware around
the flashing cable now sits on the same side as the micro sd card slot
Our batch, and im guessing some more have issues with flashing. once it flashes, which takes about 30 trys....then says "no system file found"
even though the sytem file is in there
this is the new 1.6 fcore file
we are lucky we tested before we shipped stock. If you have a preorder in with a store, please email them and ask them to test out 1 or 2 from their batch to see if they have the same issue.
Maybe we where just unlucky, but just a heads up!
Peace

Hi there
got a customer that bought an itouch, and a ezflash seperately, and he cant get them working
I have tried to get it working myself, and cant seem to figure it out either
i have gba exploader .58b
and i have patched it with that ips patch
when i click on the nds file, it says "hardware now available"
and then asks me if i want to set slot2 as the gba expansion, A or B
no matter what i press it just says
"initialize...."
and seems to stay like that
any help appreciated!

How to Enable M3i Zero - Quick Tutorial
20 July 2009 - 03:36 PM
Hi
just a quick video and step by step guide on how to enable the M3i Zero when you get it.
Enabling the M3i Zero
After following step 1, you can watch this video which will help you understand the process
1. Download this file Here
2. unzip it, and drag that 1 file (F_CORE.DAT, its the upgrade file), and 1 folder (SYSTEM, its the software the M3 real needs to run on) onto your micro sd card. Make sure the file and folder at in the "ROOT" of the micro sd card, the very top!
3. Put micro sd card into the M3i
4. Put the upgrade cable into the M3i (the shinny side, i.e. the side with the ARROW on it should be facing the BACK of the M3i!)
5. Plug the USB port into your PC, or anything that has a port that will give it power
6. The M3i should blink for about 15~20 seconds. After it stops blinking, your M3i is enabled
7. Unplug the upgrade cable from your PC and M3, and then put your M3i into your DS/DSi, and it should be working
8. You can now delete the file F_CORE.DAT from the micro sd card as it will no longer be needed (its only needed to flash your m3i once!)

Acekard 2i playing Homebrew, but no Roms
24 April 2009 - 01:24 AM
I have 2 customers at the moment that are claiming to not be able to play any Roms at all on their Ak2i.
Got them to try fomr DS homebrew, and it works fine.
They changed micro sd cards, tired AKAIO, and the latest firmware...but nothing seems to work. The Rom will just freeze on the loading screen
1 of them is on the way back, has anyone heard of such an issue?
It might also be good to let you know, ironically, we have had hardly no returns for the ak2i, pretty realiable so far ---BUT these acekards are the second acekards both of these guys had. The first time they both got it...it wouldn't even boot the menu
I will know whats up next week when i get 1 of them back, but the reason why this would happen to 2 people is killing me
