I don't know but imho talking is fine, leaking is the pointless excercise...although talking may just be a waste of time too if you're not talking about the important points.

In Topic: How to fix the connection issue while running in AHBPROT mode

@stfour I'm not sure, however if the installed dol is a forwarder to your latest postloader then you can set it from there.

Priiloader > forward.dol (sets the AHBPROT) > postloader.dol

In Topic: Where to get "legal roms"

12 July 2011 - 02:48 PM

Sorry Cyan for not going over all the sites well enough.

I'm only missing a few systems now and I think I may well fit everything on a 1 gb sd, I'd hope to get everything as small as possible(so no BIG collect EVERYTHING pack), I do have a few bigger cards but the purpose is to have a quick setup-and-check-emus-run-fine card/pack (backup) that IF I uploaded somewhere would be as legal as can be.

Anyway, holidays in full flow now so no time for a bit.

and yeah, my terminology sucks tongue.gif

In Topic: Where to get "legal roms"

Damn I wished I never posted this now....

Not all NES roms are illegal, eg if I make a rom I can choose to distribute it however I please. "ROMS" are not copyright only 99.9% of them.

There are many ways they can be legal, a company goes bust and doesn't operate anymore in the territory they hold rights, they choose to make it PD (see snes Another World (out of this world), someone makes a homebrew rom etc.

GbaTemp wont allow links to illegal roms, yet I have links to PD roms .... so they must be legal or gbatemp would have removed them already.

This topic wasn't intended as a debate over the legality of commercial roms.
