If you need to convert Icons to 15 bit, both The GIMP and Photoshop have options to do so in the advanced sections of their respective save BMP dialogs. It's the one that reads "1X 5R 5G 5B" or similar under 16-bit.

If you don't have either, get The GIMP from one of the links below, or from your package manager.

For my homebrew icons at post 1(quake,quake2, NeoGeo, ..etc):
QUOTE
to us these, rename the .bmp to correspond with your .nds file
and place both files in the same directory...these dont go in the icon folder

Extension icons(txt, dpg, avi, ..etc) go in '__aio/icons'

I've tried to do it myself but no FRICKING LUCK!

What I did was save this picture:
http://yourdolphin.com/XStandard/dec_text.gif

I downloaded this program:
http://www.brothersoft.com/icon-master-24517.html

I also tried GIMP but I had no idea what the hell I was doing so I forgot about that. I have Photoshop CS but I don't know how to use it. frown.gif

I still keep getting that no icon in the place. I've named it as txt.bmp just like you said.

Joey90, please UPLOAD. I've wasted an hour trying to do it myself. Also, can you tell me what program you used?

extension icon pack for Acekard.

Include are icons for: avi, bmp, cc, dsm, ini, jpeg, jpg, mp3, ogg, png, rar, txt, zip, wav, xml, gif.

to use these, place them in the 'icons' folder of your Acekard

These were not made by me. Credit goes to bbdvd, and nin187.

Sorry, I was getting them right off my card to make sure I got the correctly formatted ones - I have some others that didn't work correctly.

As for the program I used, I downloaded something called AhaView... which has 15-bit as an output setting.

Hope that works!

I like your .txt icon better than the one in the other file because it's like Windows. Will download it soon.

I fixed the SNES icon at the first post, so now it looks just like a SuperNintendo controller happy.gif .

Cool.

What good games are there for SNES?

Edit: Joey90, your icons have that blank white background which I don't like. I'm sticking with bbdvd and nin187's.

Try Googling for FileTrip Download Link snemulds compatibility. On that note, compatibility is low but can be improved depending upon your willingness to screw around with per-game settings. Personally you're better off playing a more polished+up to date emulator like jEnesis.

I don't know much about the old Nintendo systems. I know starting from N64 because that was my first console. (Remembers the good old days when I only had like 2 games. Super Smash Bros and the Mario Kart) *Sighs*
What does SNES emulate anyway? Super Nintendo ? I'm really clueless right now. unsure.gif

Yeah, but it's only partially developed. The devleoper's blog states that the project isn't abandoned, but it has been hiatus for a pretty long time. I think most people purchase a Playstation Portable and there's some kind of SNES9x port available.
