Translation + emulator package

Video is of CFC2 playing in its original form on the Neo Geo Pocket


Flavor has released his finished translation of the Japan-only SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash 2, for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Included in the download is a version of the RACE! emulator specifically compiled for playing this game, and the English translation patch. Theres also a version compiled for the PSP for those interested, and the patched ROM will run in any of your standard NGP emulators. You will need the original Japanese ROM to play this. Download and setup instructions below.

Wish there was NG emulator to play all those great SHMUP's from Aarcade era.

That depends on your definition of "fully working." If you want compatibility with ROMs, then that should be high. If you want speed, then the DS isn't the platform for you.

bugger. and i was hoping to play SNK vs Capcom: match of the millenium on the DS.
I guess I have to go and buy myself a new cell battery for my NGP and play the thing there :S

Sorry, there is a version of RACE out there for the DS. It's not real new, but it's not much different than the version used for CFC2EnglishDS. The CFC2EnglishDS one just has some game-specific hacks built in.
