I started making a Pokemon Hack because I was seriously bored. So I started hacking a Leaf Green ROM and edited the sprites and some text and it was fun so I though I'd start a project on it. Anyone interested in helping out?

Edit: All I know how to do right now is edit sprites and editing text, don't know anything else yet. laugh.gif

Hacking leafgreen is not the best choice.
The most advanced hacking game is Ruby, a lot of things are possible to do.
But if you wanna hack FR/LG, pick Fire Red.
I am not as good as I used to be, but if you have any questions just ask me. I will try to help you by answering your question.

Well, I only started on Leaf Green. I also thought FR/LG was the best cause it has the Pokemon from the first 3 Generations and better graphics. What exactly makes Ruby special? (Just to ask.)

Its because:
*Most tools are available for Ruby and Sapphire
*Most offsets of different events have been found for Ruby
*Easy editing of title screen and worldmap.

and many other things you can do on pokemon ruby rom(U).

Good luck and have fun.
I would like to join, but at the moment, too many courseworks and stuff, so I cant join.
Also in my free time, I am planning to do my FINAL hack, and my best hack ever, which will be based on the story of X-Clamp. I already worked on some scripts. I wont work much on tile sets, but planning to do my titlescreen in the weekend.
If I finished working on title screen, I will show it to ya wink.gif.
Anywayz, as I mentioned, if you have any question just ask me. smile.gif.
edit:
Nah man, I stopped doing anything at the moment.
Have 3 courseworks to do at the same time, I hope I can show you my world map very soon.

I always thought it may be fun to make the ultimate Pokemon game that would allow Pokemon up to any level, and every region including the Orange Islands. Of course, it would take years though, and I don't have the patience to spend more than a few hours on something like that lol. Still, playing Pokemon Hacks is fun.

Oh, and if you're into Pokemon, head on over to this forum and support a remake of Crystal plus a few new things (online play included) and the Orange Islands. The game's gonna be immense, and it's not too long 'til it's finished.

Crystal Aurora Forum?
