that's true, that's what the feature is used for, but it wasn't working on the test version FW, does anyone know if updates have this fixed?

DS-GBA Linkage guide has been added. In addition, I have readdressed the battery issue after massive testing within the FAQ. For some odd reason, my battery icon would never change no matter what early on. Now, it indeed displays the plug icon when my DS runs low on power.

Q:  When and how does the G6 Lite need to be recharged?
A:  If you notice that your G6 is not keeping the saves stored while your DS is powered off, then it's time to charge.  Simply place your G6 Lite onto the UBurner and then into an available USB port.  Charging time is not fully known at this time, but several claims put it at under two hours for a full charge.

holy crud... the G6 needs charging also? Or did you mean the DS system itself... cause if the G6 needs charging too that would uber suck lol, play play play dies but DS is fully charged... lol.

anyways correct me if I am wrong...

The battery, according to G6/M3 Team, is rechargable. This is not something to worry about except maybe a couple of years from now. Some have speculated that the battery also gains a minor charge during play. Relax on the whole battery issue, folks. At least they gave us a rechargable battery unlike other products.

I'll assume that you're familiar with the save system for each game that you've been playing. It sounds like the battery is not holding a steady charge. I recommend charging the G6 in the Uburner for at least an hour. Also, have you attempted to use Soft Reset with any NDS games and have they successfully saved? If yes, and saving still isn't working, then there is a deeper issue involved. That would seem to me like a defective unit.

And still the problem of real time save... sigh (enabled it but nothing)

Per request of Costello, I have added pictures of the U-Disk menus. Also, I added a new guide: Writing Backup Saves to G6 Lite!

Wait, how do you have version 4.4 of the flashing software? V4.3a is the latest on the site.

EDIT: Found it, bottom of this page:

I was wondering what the deal is with the "backup saves [select]" option under the G6 menu. What do all those options mean?
