I'm trying to install dop-mii and cIOS249, but my wii-mote doesn't work in these.. I've heard use a gamecube controller, but I have a black wii, 4.3U and it has no gamcebube controller ports.. What do I need to do to make a controller connect to install these things?

purchase/use an older wiimote. That is your only option. The newer wiimotes that come with the newer wii's for some reason can not be used in homebrew, and it does not look like that will get fixed with any homebrew in the foreseeable future.

I hope you are right. Even if a fix is discovered, only a fraction of Wii homebrew projects are still active, so I doubt it will get applied to much.

Btw, do you have any idea about why they don't work? If you do, don't bother trying to explain it as I doubt I would understand, lol. I'm still curious to know if anybody besides Nintendo has a guess.
