I'm guessing they're still boxed and wrapped in protective cellophane?

My DS Lite is fine, 100% working, just a few cosmetic scratches on the case, a couple on the touch screen. On issues with the hinges.

My saviour in shiny armor galoped into the thread on his white horse! Please save me from Flaming Joe, otherwise he'll continue to irreversibly hurt my feelings.

Ontopic though, someone mentioned that DSi's have a worse build quality then DS Lite's. I got the opposite impression when I first played with both until... until a friend of mine *chipped away* a piece of the case that surrounds the D-Pad due to... excessive gaming, I suppose? He now has a hole between 2 arms of the D-Pad lol, quite unfortunate.

...at least his hinges are fine. >> *looks at his cracked hinges and sighs* One day this lid will separate from the rest of the console... I need a new case.

but it works normally :yaynds:

^ Freezing white screen? Actually sometimes my XL wouldn't detect commercial game card, gotta eject and re-insert but ever since I got my Acekard it's always in my XL unless I need to upload some games, so I kinda believe NDS got some contact issues which easily happens :\

Yesh, its the white screen where you have to press the button for 8 seconds etc, and you have to use a toothpick or something.

Was mostly joking. It really seems to me that the DSlite is rather delicate. (or maybe I'm just rough on them without meaning to be)

Green? That sounds more like corrosion than mold. Could be wrong. Maybe someone else here has experience with something like this.

Can you get a picture for us?

Correct, no surprises there.
XD happens with contacts sometimes, I have had it in the headphones slot of my iPod before.

It's got some scratches here and there on the case and screen as well the top screen has a little glue holding the hinge together.
