Foxi4 was thinking more of using USA releases on the UMD program.

It would obviously work on a US Vita though - you'd just be locked into the Japanese PSN account.

That is indeed what I thought and then realized that Japanese PSN wouldn't have US releases as you previously mentioned. Silly me.

This is kinda upsetting... But no big deal really. If you really want to play your *cough* UMDs *cough* you'll just keep your PSP. And if you're smart you'd keep it anyways instead of selling it to Gamestop for 30 bucks when getting your Vita.

I sold my PSP Go and regret it. I miss Portable 3rd on the go, and I wouldn't be able to play it on my Vita anyways... "Select titles"=waste of time anyways.

I just bought a PSP for Christmas and I'm happy with Pirating all my games without having UMD's or a Vita...
