So I used ModMii to softmod my Wii. I downloaded all the cheats. I go into the cfg usb loader. I click on the game and I see manage cheats. I download the text. It finds it on the SD Card. I check the cheat I want to use. Press back. Start game. try to use cheat or expect it to work. Nothing happens.

Am I not using the cheats right? I am not sure how this works. Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you!!

Make sure you save the GCT file for the cheats you selected and that you enable cheats for the game.

Use CodeManager. It's only thing that actually creates GCT files that work.

Not sure what that is. I am still new to all this. Can you point me into the right direction?

Not true. The code manager in Configurable USB Loader works just fine.

In Configurable USB Loader, go to the game, click Options, enable Ocarina codes.

The default hook "VBI" should work. Works for me most of the time. :)
