You have to save Duyus in the previous levels to have enough to complete 1-8.
In the upper level selection screen you can check the avalaible Duyus for the world as "World Duyus", and your record in the level selected.
The lower selection screen show the number of recommended Duyus for the level selected, that's to say try to complete that level with that number of Duyus or less.

Maybe it's not correctly explained this, cause the game lack of the e-manual of dsiware which was gonna placed in the "help" button on the main screen.

Anyways I improve a pair of levels in your savegame so you can keep playing:

Yeah, I've got a problem. When I start game through HBmenu with this save it freeze with white screens. And cheats? What cheats? Cheat codes or secrets?

Thanks for sharing with us this very nice game .... I wish you the best for the future ;-)

First I've got only 2 black screens with my cyclodsi and I had to create a save game file first ( I use the one you provide in your last post and just erase the datas on first launch). Don't know if it is related to the uncommon .dsv ( .sav ) extension.

It works now just fine with both my Cevo and my good old acekardRPG ( greetings to YWG ...).

I don't know what's the problem with the savegame, but anyways it's not important, the point was: save Duyus in the previous levels to have enough to complete the 1-8.

Cheats or secrets like:
9 lifes: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, B
Custom color to Santa Claus (depends of your user color selected in the NDS settings): L, R, X, L, R, B, L, R, X.
Restart all help screens: L, Y, L, L, R, B, X.
Hide all help screens: UP, UP, DOWN, UP, L, X, RIGHT.
White Santa Claus and 0 lifes: Y, B , Y, X , Y, B , B.

All in the title screen.

I notice some people want to play Duyumania in a emulator (at least one person in neogaf asked for this). I tried the game in no$gba or no$zoomer without problems or even load times.
Duyumania can work also on DeSmuME, go to emulation/gba slot and select "compact flash" in the tab, and down there mark "folder" and select this folder uncompressed:

Yeah I got a DSTwo and happens to me randomly too and don't know why, just restart the DS.
