Made the same question in ask!, but haven't gotten a reply yet and it's been a while so I'm posting it here.

My friend is using a 4.3E Wii, cIOSX 21 with d2x57 v7 on 249 and 250.
He has  configurable USB loader rev70.
Getting startup freezes and ingame freezes, with images disappearing followed by freezing (like in mw3, he can't see his weapons on select a class and then when he clicks one the game freezes)

Any suggestions?

That sounds like some HDD problem. Check out the sleep issue, may that's it.
