Did you ever wanted to use your Nintendo for something more serious? Check this: Bible for NDS version 1.2. Naturally an adaptation of the Christian Bible, with your choice of translations and a possibility to use the enclosed windows text xml importer to have more. It features many updates and bug fixes, and even a minigame!

Minigame looks neat.
Not really my thing, but can you theme it? I'm tempted to theme it just because the leopard fur and desert stuff isn't quite to my taste, although I probably won't use it anyway.

EDIT: Also, wrong forum. You're looking for the NDS homebrew forum. This isn't really news, so much as a project post.

I don't think this belongs in user submitted news...it's not really news...it's also not a self advertisement forum.

Belongs in the NDS homebrew homebrew news section I think.

Wait where does this go? Its news (for some) and the project is pre-existing. So....where does this go? :wtf:

EDIT: I don't like the themes, if its ok I may take a whack at re-theming it.

Hey, everyone is allowed an opinion no matter how credulous it is.

P.S. I notice the OP has capitalized 'Nintendo' but not 'christian'.

EDIT: The glaring parapraxis has been edited now.

Your use of the word "propoganda" is wrong here.

Anyways, this thread isn't going to be one of those types of threads since it's utterly disrespectful and ignorant to bash someone's beliefs because you view yours, or lack thereof, as "the correct way". Nice homebrew application. I'm sure anyone who would read a Bible from their gaming device to keep things simple would enjoy this.

You have no right to bash someone's beliefs. How dare you. Thanks gbatemp. Keep up the good work, man.

You can add other translations I believe. There are probably issues with distributing certain translations due to copyrights and stuff.

When you go to sourceforge there is no download available for the NIV of the Bible :( I went there for that specific reason. I like the idea of a re-upload with some better themes applied, or at least an option for applying different themes in the next release. Also uploader, please give access whether publicly or privately :D for the NIV please. I would greatly appreciate your effort. Nice homebrew and definitely usable! :D

The redactor's use of the word "serious" is wrong too, by the way.
