Basically I'm planning on getting a new GC memory card for my Wii. Now the question is about where to get one and should I just try and shell enough money for a Nintendo branded or just go for the cheaper alternatives (apparently just chinese versions from shops like DX)? Pretty much the same thing could be considered with GC controllers, since I do prefer cordless ones, but the Wavebird is quite rare nowadays (especially new), not to mention the price (50€+ new?).

Thanks in advance,

-Qtis

i'd get the nintendo black one (251 blocks) if you can. i remember having to get it from asia at the time. not really sure about unofficial ones cause i had bad experiences with them on the n64 and since stayed away.

controller wise don't consider anything else except for official

the white one has an extra long lead considering use with the wii. wireless doesn't have rumble, but its wavebird or nothing and they're hard to find and expensive these days.

I have this one. Lots of space and no problems at all. It's also so cheap you could buy 2 and have other one as backup place!
And like Hanks6 said on controllers you should stay away from china models. They brake really easily, doesn't have vibration at all, wires will come out, sticks rubber head will fall out, buttons may stuck from time to time and so on. Maybe for second player controller they are good enough so you don't have to get 4 official controllers just to play randomly with random friends ;P
