I bought an R4i card from r4ids.cn and I am trying to play Pokemon SoulSilver without any freezes. I found out that I have to install YSMenu for it to work, but I then found out that it isn't a clone of an R4, it is a clone of an Acecard. Is there any solution to get Pokemon to work without freezing? I have the newest Wood firmware and have tried patching the rom.

I just wonder why not download the latest  wood r4 for r4i gold(r4ids.cn) from www.r4ids.cn.

Download a new Rom. It always plays fine for me, with the same card.

the r4idsn by that same team is supported by every wood firmware update that i post to the front page of gbatemp. the r4i gold is supported by the team themselves with the help of YWG. so if you have the r4i gold from the .cn team then you need to grab their wood firmware build.

make sure you have the correct wood firmware running on your card.

Originally one team. Something messy sort of...and then it all kind of just ended up this way.

I want to thank everyone for the replies. I have the latest WOOD firmware installed. It must just be the ROM then. Is there any code that I'm supposed to be using with it?

verify that your rom is a good clean dump by CRC value against a known good set listing.

Just remove *.sav or *.nds.sav from the tf card and copy a clean rom to your tf card.
Please download  wood r4 v1.44 for r4i gold(r4ids.cn).
This rom should be able to run.
