Well aekara tried making one and it didn't come out well and i said i'd give it a try. So here it is. This is just a demo of what i'm trying for the really early stages. In the actual game i'll add a bigger room to launch in, make the slingshot sprite better, and more levels and so on, add adjustable height and power based on how you stretch the slingshot. Like i said, this is an early stage so there is room for minor enhancements.

CONTROLS: If there isn't a bird already in the room, hold down on the screen to aim, and release to shoot. To aim pull back the slingshot to adjust your shooting angle (or aim behind it i should say since there is no pulling back animations, and your ascend and power or fixed. Pay attention to where you put your stylus to aim because the sprite is off). The objective is to kill the green pig, so knock down the blocks and hit that thing!

Let me know how you like it so far. Also the physics aren't perfect since i don't really know physics or how to simulate it properly, so give me some credit for doing as much as i did. (note: blocks won't fall unless all blocks are removed from underneath them)

The way the original post was laid out, with the wording of the post on the other site you copied, it looked as if you were saying you made it. I saw the source and was able to figure out otherwise before the edit, but I could see how somebody may have been confused.

Why don't people wait until their software actually does something before releasing it?
I'm all for releasing apps early, getting some feedback etc. but when all it does is rotate a sprite and fling an other sprite, really there should be no need for anyone else to even see it at that stage. That being said, I do hope this project gets somewhere near completion.

The guy who made it is a real beginner and he didn't exactly "ask" for releasing it, this is just a tech demo Coolness found.

I'm preeetty sure Nobody had no intentions of ever releasing it to the public in this form. It's just how we do things at DSGM forums - we show the stuff we made, be it with DSGM or any other envioriment (the latter being a rarity, as the forum's dying a slow death nowadays).

Posting on a forum = releasing to the public.

If you want to get the feeling spot on, just get the box2d physics engine to run it. it's ported to the ds, FileTrip Download Link pocket physics used it.

Well, I suppose it doesn't matter too much as Angry Birds 3DS is going to be released soon.

I really don't see the apeal or reason why Angry birds is as big as it is... Its not an original game, and its not interesting enough to tolerate longer than 10 minutes of play.
