I know that there are some fake DS roms out on the internet that are capable of bricking my DS Lite. I'd like to know if there are any DS rom scanners that can scan all my roms to check for these brickers.
I have used DS ROM Organizer and Rominator, however, I know that there are three types of these bricker files, and I am afraid that Rom Organizer and Rominator only check for two of them.

If I'm wrong, then please let me know, otherwise, I'd be deeply appreciative. Thanks.

There are programs that can check your ROM's CRC value (I think ds-scene's rom tool can do that). If the CRC doesn't match, it's probably not what you want (it can be a bricker [very unlikely], a bad dump, patched rom, etc...)

I don't really see a need for that much precaution though.

Not wanting my DS bricked isn't reason enough?
But thanks for the tip though.

My point is that brickers are extremely rare, and you won't encounter one if you're getting roms from legitimate sources.

Any brickers out there can be "scanned" manually, because the file size is very small. It doesn't take a genius to figure out Pokemon Black is a bit heavier than 500KB-1MB

So none of the brickers can fluff the data size? If you guys are positive I'll trust you. I'm just a tad nervous is all.

As far as I can tell, there are only a few versions of brickers, and none of them have been updated for at least a few years.

Yes, it is possible to fluff the file, but no one has had any interest in them for quite a while.

Erm..... Getting ROM's from legitimate sources.... Is there such a thing ???

I though ALL ROMS's are illegally copied  (& don't say 'for backup purposes you ARE allowed to make a copy', in most cases DS ROM's don't count)

I agree - I've done quite a few as well... the worse thing I've ever had was corrupted save files (but that could've been due to the cheap flashcard I had)

You are talking about searching through every single nds file that you may ever download in an attempt of making sure that you don't brick your DS...6000-ish nds game releases to defend against the 2-3 homebrew that could brick your DS, all of which are hard to even come across. Rather than looking for a scanner, why not just put on flashme to satisfy your paranoia.

I believe no-intro has MD5 rom checking lists for DS roms.
http://datomatic.no-intro.org/ (standard dat is for clrmame pro- http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/ )
If someone can be bothered to inject a rom with the bricker or otherwise fake it and then brute force an MD5 hash on top of it (not to mention CRC32 as well if you are really paranoid) and get the rom into your hands (it is really not hard to find a good rom site) then they deserve to brick anybody they come across.

Edit just checked- they have SHA1 as well. If some hypothetical trojan maker found the first known sha1 collision (or worse produced one) as well as making an identical collision for the other methods they truly deserve to brick it.

In short- do not worry, get a good source, run a basic test (there were a few introed GBA roms that did CRC32 faking back when but I would probably still call it good for the DS) if you are speed freak level paranoid and carry on with life.
