This makes me want a Virtual Boy...
But god it would be uncomfortable!

Have you ever used it yourself or are you just assuming? :/

I came in here expecting a run-off-the-mill fun-bash at the VB, and instead got this awesomely concise review...actually reviewing it! Awesome :D Great job! *saves rest of review for later*

if you have the right height desk, a half-way comfortable desk chair, and you set it up to slightly swivel towards the desk, you will end up with an extremly comfortable experience. i've gamed on mine for 2-3 hour sessions and haven't had a single issue. i have back problems from time to time, serious enough to have required medical attention, and i've never had a problem playing with the VB.

if sitting at the desk still doesn't seem comfortable then consider doing a custom stand mod. there are more than a few articles about using lamp bases.

That link is a clever idea. :)

I have played one before, but never owned one... and as I said it was terribly uncomfortable... but this mod could help.
Might look to buy one somewhere...

Great review:) Unlike other people in this thread, I actually got my VB brand new when it first came out as a birthday present, Had some fun times with it, never particulary found it too uncomfortable. Later on when it crashed I got a bunch of the games I didn't have for 1$, so that was great.

I've been conflicted it on selling it lately though. On the one hand, it has some good memories and is a cool thing to own. On the other hand, It's a lot easier to play the games on the Wii and there still in 3D. So it's just sitting in a closet in my dad's house right now.
