:/ Might be easier to find Japanese speakers on these forums than Korean. I wonder if the same tools still work.

That's pretty likely, considering Ragnarok DS...

Now, I don't really like MapleStory, due to there being a massive amount of players trying to sell things no one wants/can afford and there being multiple locations where there are maybe 2 players around for miles and miles of in-game territory, but I really would play MapleStory DS. No overcrowding/undercrowding and no player-made shops every 2 steps would make me really happy.

Man i dont even know why, but Maplestory used to drag me back in every couple years. It stopped after i went back for a bit after they did they're own version of "Cataclysm" - Big Bang, and changed everthing, including the world map. But my fondest memories when i did play is when i'd walk into the Free Market and INSTALAG simply due to the sheer number of people camping there trying to sell their specifically better-than-everyone-elses' piece of candy for 99 million mesos. . . that game

I'm really hoping that either a real US or EU release will come out, but atleast the chance of a translation is now higher...
I still play Maple every once in a while... but it was better before the big bang patch! i liked it the most in the Beta :) but that is now far behind me :'(

It's "red Snail" and it's not "officially" abandoned. Ziggy just signed up and is working on it currently, along with Punyman.

ZOMG. Hopefully this leads to an international release or at least a better fan translation.
