After the failed attempt of it's predecessor. SNK Playmore has decided to bring back the Neo Geo Pocket under a placeholder name Neo Geo Portable, this is a licensed product. The device comes with 2GB of internal storage, 4.3 inch screen, 2200mAh battery and measuring at 170x72x15mm. Controls comes with a D-Pad, four face buttons, a start and menu button, buttons for volume and brightness. Ports for SD card, headphones and AV.

The device will come shipped with 20 Neo Geo classics built in:

5.NAM-1975
6.MUTATION NATION
7.LAST RESORT
8.KING OF MONSTERS

All games are USA versions

No news on price and release date yet.

This isn't actually a Neo Geo Pocket. This is a POCKET Neo Geo ;)

It's a Dingoo thingy with a NEO GEO emulator preloaded on it. If you watch the title list, you'll notice that they're arcade titles.

I wonder if it can also run up to Metal Slug 5...

i doubt it would be anything related to Dingoo, it's officially licensed.

It might even be h4xx0rd to let other emulators on it.

I'm pretty sure that it's a cheap MIPS architecture platform. Which could even support Dingux on it.

I can't foresee them using ARM anyway. Maybe ARM11? Who knows.
