EZ5i Couldn't update on DS Lite

Yep.

Once in v101 you can update in v108a.

using unbricker 2.0, you dont need to anything more it's updated to 108

Yes. K3.0ob7 + firmware v101 from filetrip + v108a and you are ready for the 2 updates.
