I have been looking for a solution to some games I try to run on my dsi xl with dstti.
I choose the game to load then I get a black box with white lettering says:
Rom loading failed
load rom errcode = -4
any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! thx!

I have the DSTTi, which i just received yesterday, with the NDS-XL, and was also getting the errcode=-4 error. I followed the instructions Jimmyemunoz link above point to and it worked like a charm. I am a stickler for details, so I followed the instructions exactly as they were written. As Retro notes, be sure to read the how to install.txt files. I also downloaded and used the Panasonic formatter as suggested.

Thank you for reporting back. Retro's kernel is just as good as Wood's kernel IMO. It opens up the ability to play 99.8% of all DS games.
