I personally feel better using an Official NIntendo patch for my save.

if only skyrim save patch could be that easy. hackers (as presented in game dev story) are better at times than devs themselves

Google's translation of the official Nintendo page regarding the issue is pretty terrible.
I especially like how it ends. "We apologize for that we apologize for the inconvenience." |

I wonder if they'll ever release save patches for Super Paper Mario and Twilight Princess instead of only replacing discs.

[p]Nintendo has released a save fix for a game breaking bug, it made further progress in the game impossible if done in a certain way. Any Japanese Skyward Sword owners can have their saves fixed by downloading a channel patch from the Wii Store. No news of when USA/Canada and Europe will get their patch so far. The patch channel is available in Europe now. And the game works very well with Conf. USB-loader |
