I've fully finished World 5 now. I'll be giving the demo to the very few testers I have left and World 7 will be the next to be finished, likely within a week. So World 6 and 7 will be bundled with the same demo. After that, the Grand Finale, World 8. The hardest World to make, In every possible aspect.

I have some announcements to make. *Ahem*

(Begins announcement)

"New Super Mario Bros. 5: Clone Tag Team will be the first NSMB hack to feature a story other than Princess Peach being kidnapped. The player will be able to follow the story through playing through the game. This will be achieved by a Password system which will unlock various .rar files (which will be included with the patch) containing an emphasized storyline with alternate routes that can be taken depending on the order of Worlds the player first decides to take. Players can collect a Password by completing each World, They then simply have to use the password to unlock the .rar file containing the next part of the story.Please note that this feature is optional, but to those who follow the story will be treated will a special achievement, including a prize."

And

"The Patch for the hack will be packaged with an instructional video, to teach Players how to use Clones skillfully, as these skills will need to be developed to overcome some of the varied-in-challenge tasks in the game."

This is not official yet, but I may also be planning to hold some kind of "Scavenger Hunt", though I've yet to decide the Prize.

It's really starting to come together now. I'm getting a bit excited.

Thats actually a great idea. although some people may annoyed going back and forth to rar files.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But after all, nobody has to follow the story. I know many people who'd rather just play. But that's why I'm having a prize at the end. For those who've bothered to unlock the .rar's.

Edit: Oh, by the way. I don't want people expecting some long RPG-type story. I've finished the story, (though I may change it.) and it is rather simple as I've only had about 4 characters to work with, but it is more than "Go save Peach". But the story does reveal the clone's purpose, and it includes references to past Mario games like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Paper Mario.

The World 6/7 Trailer has been uploaded and is on the first post now. This is the last trailer before release, but that is probably still a while away. It's a shame though, because I had to remove the World 1 Trailer...
