I've noticed over the years that people have made many hacks of classic titles and a lot of them are more fun than they get credit for. What are some of your personal favorites for the original game boy and game boy color?

I have not really played too many non translation hacks on the GB/GBC but I will say the "Link gets laid" hack always amuses me and there is a nice level hack for one of the bugs bunny crazy castle games- http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/571/
Some interesting things were done to pokemon (as in almost turning it into an entirely different genre of game) but you will have wade through the pokemon easy/overpowered versions to find them. |
