using R4DS rom trimmer fixed the issue that tokyotrimmer was causing.
any idea why? i've always used tokyo trimmer with no problems.

Maybe tokyo romtrimmer break some things in roms.
At least you found something that i need to inform in the first post of this thread.
Enjoy the game! yaynds.gif

Congratulations on getting a release sorted. There have certainly been far easier hacks to pull off in the past.

Front page post up shortly.

Ah, is only a change in some texts.
You only need to download the patch and patch it with the clean rom again.

Good to know. I'll repatch then.

About opening.. that's impossible, that's the only place that the rom put the subtitles, sorry about that.

No worries. It's not a big deal, just wanted to know if it was something that could change.

Once again, great work. Many thanks for the time and effort put in.

No problem.
Remember, if you guys found a bug or the game freezes in some conversation, write the whole text and post here, to fix it quickly.

Also, i think that the bonus content that i added, will be a great surprise for all.
This is the less i can do, because, i couldn't recover Layton..

I have some concerns about the patch (names are one thing but if you bundle music that gets more tricky) but I will leave that for another time and place.

Thanks for the post in the portal.
About music and all undub stuff, i manage to fully undub the game in what should be undubbed (where exist voices, not extra voices added, if is that you are talking about).
Undubbing was 90% easy, except in a file, that a person that works in this project too, build me a tool to unpack and pack that file and replaced all the voices and sound files with the JP ones (IE1 JP had that files separated, in this game, a lot of that files was packed in only two files).

In resume, is 100% undubbed.

Just patched my game & tested it.... first off, GREAT JOB on the undub & I like the touches on the video subs but it has some delay on the voice over the soft subs & some of it isn't translated but I'm ok with it.

although in the world map where you "teleport" in some area the Teikoku academy map is still translated as Royal academy. Could you please change that to Teikoku.

will post more...

Chapter 8: practicing inazuma break at the warehouse Haruna talks about Kidou being in the Royal Academy (not teikoku academy)

Thank you and congratulation to all people involved for the work you have done smile.gif

I don't like football, but I'm curious to see a sport RPG game. I waited for your patch before trying the game (I only tested the demo Level5 released with ni no kuni, It looked nice but too short to make myself an idea).
