Hey guys, I've reuploaded the forwarder compiled with new libs, it's still using the v8 source but the new libs will fix some problems.

Great work Dude! It would be nice to add videos of your forwarder in your first post so people can see them beforehand. (If you can't upload it then someone else who could contribute with it)

I must say they are really nice! Thumbs Up!

So this is able to mount cfg loader from an NTFS partition without an SD card?

Hey FIX. Heres an update.
It seems the new libs work with some problematic HDD (ie: mine) but break compatibility with others (ie: another HDD I had lyying around).
Thought I'd test it on both to see if anything changed and well.. It did. You should have both versions in here.
The "regular" one. And the one for problematic HDDs.
Best regards.

@all:
Should my next release load from sd card first (like it is now) or should it load from USB HDD first? I don't have plans to make a new release now, but I want to know it wink2.gif

finally dusting off this account, and getting some use out of it tongue.gif

@FIX94: i downloaded your USB first forwarder from the FileTrip Download Link configurable usb loader thread, and that one loads a bit faster for my setup. because i have a FAT32/WBFS drive, i prefer to have all loaders stored on the FAT32 partition and use forwarders that can read FAT32 USB hard drives. only have to carry one thing when using the drive on someone else's wii.

i have tried the standard forwarder channels since you first made them, and those have been great as well. there is a noticeable second or two wait because of the SD card being scanned first. it's miniscule, but manageable.

In my opinion it makes more sense to test SD first, because it is probably faster to check as there are no timeout and sleep issues with a sd card, while usb init usually requires some timeout handling in case the hdd was sleeping...

edit: on the other hand even sd init and fat mount takes some minor time (i guess about half a second or even less), so maybe people would want to have 2 different forwarders with different device order... although that just adds complication...
