only thing i didn't get is when you go out and see a girl, you get four choices.
they are 1) yo 2) hey 3) go for a chop! 4) don't call out to her i think #3 is like sneak up on her, hit a little bit lol. i'm not sure but it's pretty confusing, heh. thought i would share cause the #3 option was the only one that confused me in the translation, otherwise i really enjoyed the translation Edited by Chesskid1, 06 January 2011 - 07:37 PM. |

I have read through the entire topic so far and I finally decided to give this translation a try and help with error report if possible.
I really hope this gets a full translation or maybe a full translation of love plus +? Either is fine with me You have my support for this, too bad I can't really help with the translation. Well I'm of playing for now QUOTE(Chesskid1 @ Jan 6 2011, 07:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> only thing i didn't get is when you go out and see a girl, you get four choices. they are 1) yo 2) hey 3) go for a chop! 4) don't call out to her i think #3 is like sneak up on her, hit a little bit lol. i'm not sure but it's pretty confusing, heh. thought i would share cause the #3 option was the only one that confused me in the translation, otherwise i really enjoyed the translation #3 go for a chop! is actually a pretty exact translation. But I can see that some might get confused with that one (the other options are what to SAY, while #3 doesn't say anything but DO something) Are there " on #1 and #2 like "yo"? Because that would help understand it better. |

Hey, this is great! Good luck in your translation.
By the way, why did you decide to do the Love Plus and not Love Plus+ translation? Is it because TLwiki already had some things translated? I'm just curious, because I'm sure many people would love to hear the spoken dialogue as well. Mmm...it'd be so much fun if there were a female version of the game (since TMGS ends at the confession). It'd be interesting to see how they would make the guys act and react. It's a special attack of the main guy in Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 2. (Konami likes to add a little bit of other games into their games. In Love Plus, you can spot a guy from Tokimeki Girl's side, and in Tokimeki Girl's Side 3, you have Love Plus's items when you shop too.) Here's a pic of the chop attack. (He did this on your head.) ![]() I might add quotation marks as BlueFlame90 suggested, if that will make it less confusing. QUOTE(Fel @ Jan 6 2011, 02:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, this is great! QUOTE(jjjewel @ Jan 4 2011, 09:39 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Love Plus Plus will have more issues to take care of. It has Anti-piracy and with 512 MB ROM, it only works on specific carts with specific firmware, etc. I don't want to deal with those issues. Currently, with Love Plus which doesn't have any AP or any issue, 50% of the players reported that they couldn't play/couldn't patch it. Also, there's been rumor that someone or some group is working on Love Plus Plus already. LP+ added TXRC encryption to the main script texts. So directly copy+paste is not possible. (But I guess it's not very difficult.) |

Wow, I actually have all the files (script, translated script and software) from tlwiki and tried to do it myself but failed. Translation hack is too much for me.
I guess this 0.01 version includes all the already translated script in tlwiki? I can help with the QC. I know a bit Japanese, Kana and Hiragana but no Kanji. |

I found two typos earlier...one of them was definitely "Why)" spoken by Rinko at some point the other one was a flipped spacing ("blah Iblah" rather than "blah I blah"), but I can't remember what the text was TT-TT...apart from that, there was one spot where there should have been a "was" but instead there was a "were"...I'd probably have to play through again to find what they were...unless someone also saw them and knows where they were.

Hi, thanks for the patch. I've just started on the first day, but it worked on my Acekard 2i with
Akaio 1.8.1. If the game gets translated some more that would be great. I've been trying to learn Japanese, but it's taking a while and having this patch to allow me to play this game is great.

Not all scripts from TLWiki. I'm still checking what files can be used. (Most of them require major editing.) And, haha, I did the same thing you did a while ago. (Used the scripts and tried to do something with them.) This game is just quite complicated. There are many nasty codes in the game. And you will definitely need to know Kanji to QC this one. But you can help checking the English scripts while you are playing the game and report any errors you find. Thanks so much for your offer. Hmm, honestly, I'll need more info than that in order to correct the scripts. XD But thank you so much. Just be a bit more precise if you could. I'm trying to double-check the scripts now so the next patch should be better. QUOTE(F8AL @ Jan 8 2011, 06:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Any pre-patched roms? I have a DSTT w/YSMENU. That's against the rule. Be careful. You could be banned from this forum for asking that. |
