Wait, YSM3? Is that M3 Sakura?

No, YSM3 is YS Menu for M3. M3 Sakura is the "Official" firmware from the M3 Team.

R4(i) RTS was made by the M3 team so it has the same dldi and parameters. That is why it is work with it. I think it won't work in any other R4 clone.

I think it is fixed in the newer WoodR4 so I think it wouldn't work, but give it a try.

I like the GUI of Wood FAR better than YSM3 (let's face it, YSMenu is fugly). I'm not having any trouble with games loading slowly on YSmenu. I used to have games that took 3 minutes to load, but formatting with Panasonic formatter fixed all of that. I'm using a class 4 4GB Kingston Japan card. I'll use YSM3 until YWG releases the source code (I would rather have compatibility than a nice GUI at the moment).

Strange. I also formatted it with the Panasonic formatter but it was also slow for me. I read in an other topic it is happen in the slow sd cards.
How do you formatted it? Do you used the default setting of the program?

Quick couple of questions.... Does this happen to work with M3i Zero z003? Or no? =/ Hoping yes? lol And does this fix Golden Sun Dark Dawn? o= And anyone know of anything that will make Golden Sun Dark Dawn work on the M3i Zero z003? =[ *Getting desperate*

No, unfortunately Golden Sun still now fixed. It will be in 1.18 and 1.19. But we haven't got the source code yet.

I tested this on my M3i Zero z003, loads up fine other than one thing.... I haven't found a game that works yet. Every single game I've tried loading (Some being old AND new.) Gets stuck on the black screen with the yellow letters spelling out "Loading". Just figured I would let you guys know. Same thing happens with Homebrew.

Oh, also are you supposed to format the card clean and just put this on there?

I did not wipe the card clean and just renamed the old Sakura system folder to System2 and dragged the files in and it said that there was no file system. So I took the old Sakura system folder and merged the 2 replacing the files in the Sakura system folder with the WoodR4 ones and booted to TouchPod, loaded the WoodR4.nds and as I stated it loaded the firmware but not the games nor homebrew.

So I just wiped my card clean, and just put on the WoodR4 files still no go, it comes up with "No file system"......Maybe I'm just installing it wrong?

Whoa, this Wood won't work on GMP-Z003.

As for R4 clones, there was WoodR4SDHC, but it isn't available any longer, due to an imposter.

Well, about YSM3, although Taiju credited toro, he used toro's r4patch.dat patcher without prior permission. How bad he is...

It worked for me except for loading games.

Because this Wood is able to use DLDI! So you can see GUI but loader isn't dldipatched so it freezes in loading

Is it possible to dldipatch the loader by any chance? I'm still a bit new to doing this stuff. xD And if so how would I go about doing it?

Does WoodR4 for M3 fix the MicroSD issues the M3 had. What I am talking about is that games were slow. And another thing for this to work on R4 RTS you have to actually boot up the .nds right? Anyway for the actual R4 to boot up straight into this?
