The last beta is nothing like the game now. That is a very beta revision.

Wow, this comment is encouraging to hear. The v0.7 beta is extremely inventive and fun. I'm looking forward to your final piece of art :D

I have been working on the editor a lot to try and get all the features possible out of the sprites in the NSMB game. There are going to be a lot of cool things coming out of all the NSMB hacks soon as a result. My game has a lot of things that you will not expect. New Metroid Bros. is almost done, but I am making sure it is as perfect as possible. All the areas that were kind of so so in my opinion, are being redone. I have added a lot of Super Metroid in...In fact, most of the new areas I have built lately are Super Metroid areas. I have thousands and thousands of revisions that I have not released. I must have played and tested NMB thousands of times as well. Wish I could release it now, but quality, replay value, and smoothness in gameplay are the major focus before release.

I'm just worried that my DS lite will bio-degrade before the hack ever gets released. Heh....

It is close. I could have released it a while ago, but the graphics, camera, gameplay, and a lot more wouldn't have been as good as they are now. Besides that, the editor has been improved so much lately,my hack would have missed a lot of features.

I'll get ahold of you SKJ....There are a lot of levels to test. I would appreciate the help for sure. As long as you are not planning another release, until after my final revision is released.:

Alright, SKJ. My current revision is pretty stable. We can play through I think all but 2 areas this weekend (even those I may have ready by then). And yeah, you will get to trip out on some of the things I have done in my levels. Or you will also see what the time has been spent on. Overall though if you are up to helping, I think I can shave a lot of the testing and debug time off my hack. The hardest part as you know, is I can only test for my playing style...

Do you have an ETA? Not to rush, but I want to know if I should download it now or wait.

Right now, I am playing the game over and over catching every bug, boring part, missing whatever, etc. Trying to get the final touches on it. There are also a few areas that are really hard to program left. But main focus is stability. No new levels planned, just cleanups.

SKJmin is almost done with the walkthroughs for SMB3 2.5. So make sure and check that out. I think this weekend he will be done. After that he is going to help debug and revise NMB. This should speed up the final revision. Meanwhile, I haven't slowed down at all. There is so much to do it is rediculous, but the majority of the large bugs are gone. Every level has massive programming and things going on.

Another thing I have been up to is gathering data for all the sprites in NSMB. You will see a lot of this in all the other NSMB hacks. As I go through my hack, I find out new things we can do with the editor. So overall, my time spent is not only making my hack cool, but helping everyone else to have the tools to make their hacks extraordinary. And behind the scenes as well Dirbaio, along with other NSMBe developers are making huge strides from the coding end. So all in all, with the downfall of the DS, we still have some really good games on their way. Not to forget, Mega Mario and his development of the Mario 64 DS editor.

Very fun! I got myself trying to figure out WHY THE HELL the morph ball is so solid... How do i get it? Then i got back to the real world and noticed it was NSMB after all haha! Very good hack, keep going man. I wish you someday put a 3d rendered Samus there (actually i was amazed when i knew about the game thinking she was already there)

Good luck, man
