This list was made using OSW's post as a base, so thanks to him and all that contributed to his post. I do not have experience with every emulator here but I will try to keep this up to date. If you spot any glaring mistakes or omissions then pm/add a reply and I'll hop to it.
I hope you like it! (All the icons I've used add up to 52kb so not too juicy)

Nice! Thanks for taking the time to make a good thread. Just one question: What about Sega CD/Mega CD? I've never heard of such an emulator but maybe someone here has?

What about Sega CD/Mega CD?
AFAIK there's no Sega CD or 32x emu in the works. Implimenting support for these in genplus-gx is no simple task.
Your best hope is that somebody decides to port Picodrive to the wii (works great on PSP) but don't expect this to happen soon

No offence but this question has been asked and answered plenty of times wink.gif

Is it right that you have to mod. your Wii before you can use these things?

You must install the HBC to run the emulators, but that's it. No cIOSs / Patching etc.

Well, I theory you don't need the HBC either, but then you need to use the exploit to launch the emulator.

If you want to use these emulators on your wii, I would advise you to install the homebrew channel first. That way you can add/change your emulators by simply changing the files on your sd card. The other option requires you to use an exploit/hacked save every time you want to load any emulator.

Wouldn't Loadmii as the "run by exploit app" work as well?

Yes
If you are using someone else's wii (babysitting etc.) then rashef is right. Loadmiii is for you.
If you are going to use emulators on your wii more than once, man up and install the homebrew channel.
