I've managed to convince my dad to stay off the telly for the night (any idea how long it takes to wash blood off a hammer?) so provided this is playable without the DLC (I'm poor) then I'm in, 8PM onwards, Blaze163. Will add ifish as soon as I can get my dumb little brother off Fat Princess to access my account. If the DLC is needed then please let me know.
EDIT: add request sent. Hopefully I'll see you all in there, best of luck to all of you. I've not played in a while but I'm a pretty good shot with a pistol. EDIT2: due to my old man once again being a douche about use of the laptop I may be unable to join the chat thing as anything I download will invariably be deleted anyway for the sake of doucheyness, and my headset is of questionable status as it only seems to work when the planets align and a girl born in Coventry reaches her 16th birthday without becoming a grandmother, so I'm sorry to say I'll be almost entirely silent for the duration of this evening. However, if I'm still welcome and able to join you without the additional programs, I'd appreciate the diversion as Jess is away for the weekend. Sad face. ifish, you got upset that only a few poeple showed-up and then backed out of your event? after we promoted it, stickied it, gave you use of the IRC channel? if you aren't on playing right now you have just lost your last supporter.

With no warning ifish left, leaving me as host at 9. Just me and Blaze were left, but soon after my PS3 froze so then it all ended. But it was a pathetic attempt at a gaming night TBH. I wish people wouldn't say that they're going to be in and then don't show up.
Ah well, better luck next time, eh? |

Well, if anyone's interested in a Bad Company 2 gaming night let me know, scheduling it for next Saturday, 7PM GMT-ish...Thread will be made soon and it will be in accompaniment with another website too, so hopefully more people.

Technically it was me, Boxxy, ifish and Jess. The incident where my character blew himself up with a grenade in that first match had nothing to do with me, she had that life. She decided not to go out with the girls tonight, wanted to see what all the fuss was about here. We were trying to set the headset up 'cause she wanted to say hi, but the damn thing's still not working. So...Jess says Hi. And thanks for the match all the same. I'll endevour to be online more often now so if I'm around feel free to call on me for a game. I clearly need the practise.
As for those of you that were no-shows....shame on you. |

Yeah and I'll just apologise to you again for disappearing, I did send you a message but in case you missed it...my PS3 froze when loading started on that new map, and you hadn't added me as a friend so I couldn't make another party. I just went to continue with the single player on crushing instead. |

Got your message when I logged out so Jess could play Fat Princess. Added you to my friends list now. Don't worry about the PS3 freeze thing, I'm surprised mine's gone the whole night without any major technical issues. It's not been right ever since the Naughty Bear unpleasantness...
As for me, when the rest of you vanished I played a few matches with random people, had a fantastic time, and watched Jess get completely pwned in a rocket launchers only deathmatch. Never heard her swear before. She seemed to enjoy it though. Hopefully she'll go get her own PS3 now so she can join us on the next PSN night without having to play as me. |
