I would say it happens about 30%-50%. Sometimes, it happens repeatedly with the same file (I have to close all 3 processes of w2i, restart it (and it begins on the wad that wasn't finished).
wouldn't it be just easier to implement to overwrite the file in autoit if it has failed to erase the old partition1 file? |

thanks. I got your pm and tried that one. at first try, the "file already exists" message came up, and disappeared immediately. and then stop. nothing ran any more. everything regarding wad2iso is ended. no traces in task manager, either.
but hey, I'm satisfied with the way it worked before. just had to try it a few times. |

Could you please load up the latest version to something else rather than Rapidshare? Rapidshare is a real pain when you try to download something there.
I've tried one of the older versions, but it's not able to complete the process. The process gets stuck at the moment it wants to create partition1, even after several tries. |

This program woks nicely but is it just me or do the ISO's it create seem rather large compared to packs ive seen around? 33MB per ISO adds up fast for a forwader

Check the size on disk once installed to your usb drive. It takes 4MB of disk space on my FAT32 drive and shows 4.37GB (but only uses 2MB of disk space) as ISO on my NTFS drive Edited by Tristar, 06 March 2010 - 09:45 AM. |

downloaded the second link again and still the same problem customisemii loads and the file name is pasted but not opened, if the file is opened before the update box appears the program appears that it will continue with the process.
Tried it a couple of times clicking the open button the process starts and then the update box appears but the program exits and the update box disappears and the rest of the iso creation continues |

Tried it a couple of times clicking the open button the process starts and then the update box appears but the program exits and the update box disappears and the rest of the iso creation continues What OS are you using? You will have to explain exactly what is happening as I never get to see this problem. So you will have to describe precisely where it is failing and then I can see if I can catch it for you. Are you saying that each time it is run, customisemii runs, the file name is pasted but never gets loaded? Are you saying that then, each time at this point, if you click the open button the process starts, the update box appears (and is closed) and from then on the process is OK? Please clarify, which program exits but still the rest of the iso creation continues? My guess is it has something to do with the update box appearing behind the main customisemii window - not sure tho because it just works at this end. /EDIT fixed in latest version Edited by Tristar, 17 April 2010 - 02:56 PM. |

What OS are you using? Xp pro sp3
customisemii runs, the file name is pasted but never gets loaded? correct each time at this point, if you click the open button the process starts, the update box appears (and is ignored(in background) and closed as app closes) and from then the process continues which program exits but still the rest of the iso creation continues? customisemii exits cause the task has completed My guess is it has something to do with the update box appearing behind the main customisemii window? incorrect the update window appears on top of the customisemii window, but the file name is pasted in a good 1-2 seconds maybe more before the update window appears Edited by longtom1, 06 March 2010 - 10:12 PM. |

@longtom1
Looks like some of the Autoit commands that this script uses could be platform specific. I have replaced mouse clicks within the script with key presses, as XP seems to have a problem with the mouse clicks This all works fine on my setup and hopefully will be more compatible with other windows versions Wad2ISO Edited by Tristar, 07 March 2010 - 05:22 AM. |
