cool man, once u get bugs worked out of the gui, we can probably trash the batch file. But until then the batch file will have to do!

Hey, if anyone wants to help me, i have 1 quick Q (I could find out myself, but i'm busy with other stuff... so no1 start bitching about asking this Q, you don't HAVE to give me a hand)
but my Q is, where are the files saved on the sd card if you were to install the internet channel using dop-ios is it: SD:0010001\48414445\v0 (for US), SD:0010001\48414450\v0 (for PAL) and SD:0010001\4841444A\v0 (for JAP) nus downloader doesn't have a version number (just left blank), so i am unsure of the last folder name (if it should be called v0 or whatever) If any1 could give me a quick answer I'd really appreciate it (it would save me from having get wifi running on my wii and installing the internet channel on my wii using NUS) EDIT: Nevermind, i decided only to keep the wad for any wii channels, I'm only going to keep the unpacked files for Active IOSs & system menu's (as DOP-IOS can patch these, so these files still serve a purpose without being overly redundant) Edited by xflak40, 05 February 2010 - 06:35 AM. |

Nice batch coding.
The basis of this is nusd (command line version) by wiiNinja and WB3000, NusFoldersRenamer by Erik Spyder and this code (just c/p'd from 4.2U, which you can change for your needs): CODE echo Downloading System Menu 4.2U nusd 0000000100000002 481 move 0000000100000002000000100000002.wad Copy_To_SD\WAD\4.2U_Systemmenu_v481.wad ren 0000000100000002 0000000100000002v481 NusFoldersRenamer.exe rd /s /q 0000000100000002v481 No need to use the program in your guide, just make your own .. but if you only need the wad, miss out the rename and the NusFoldersRenamer, and change the rd command. Ofcourse move it into the place & as the file that would be needed. |

Wack0, yea its definitely not hard to make your own, and any1 should feel free to do so if they like.
But v2 goes above and beyond version 1, a lot more features, so I would encourage anyone to try out v2 (once its released... shortly) before deciding to make their own (but in the end if thats what u want to do, then by all means) also, to anyone wanting to see the code in its entirety, just download the package and rename the *.bin file to *.txt and view it in notepad. |
