Not going to update this anymore sorry guys. All of these R4s are really confusing to me now they keep closing and opening new websites with new names. I don't even know what the R4 SDHC is anymore there are like 10 different kind with the same name. Each clone website has 5 different versions of there products, R4-SDHC, R4-SDHCi, R4-SDHC 1.4, R4-SDHC 1.4.1, R4 Christmas edition, R4 original, R4 in Red, and all of these R4s all use different firmwares even though they are from the same company.

Can you make a concise list of firmware that should work on every R4? Or are some R4 locked, so only the clone firmware works?

Hi everyone. I have a Nintendo DSI with R4i card. After I updated it to 1.4.1E version I couldn’t play games anymore. What should I do? Can i make a downgrade? thanks

Hello,
I have my oldest original R4 flashcart, stuck with 1.18 official firmware. I decide to upgrade this, so I dig down to find all piles of what the hell are these R4 stuff. So now, the latest version of  Wood R4 is 1.16, but you said that the best firmware is 1.09. Which one I should go with? Oh and, I would like to know the list of changelog for Wood R4. Does anybody know what firmware will work on the R4sdhc from www.r4ds.us ?
Is it possible to install wood or another firmware that allows to play new games like mario vs donkeykong ? |

Sorry to bring this up now that the thread isn't maintained, but my friend brought me an R4i card that I keep having issues...
It is a gray cart with gold sticker that says R4i Revolution for DS (DSi, DSL, NDS) www.r4ids.com And so far the only firmware I have been able to run on it is the one on that particular website... The bad thing is that it won't run Pokemon B/W either cracked or uncracked. I tried running many other alternative firmwares, but the go to white screen after "Loading" or stay at the loading screen forever. Any ideas, I also tried YSmenu and AKAIO, single and dual boots.I'm running out of patience ant time, so any help? Thanks. |
