Thanks, I don't know how many times I entered it like this and got the same FAKE message. I tried it again and triple checked all the digits and it came up as LEGIT and it had not been checked before. The face sticker being smaller and having to be attached myself still kinda makes me wonder but I guess as long as it works it's fine as it will likely never need updating since it's pretty much the end of the DS's life cycle.

Just got one and when I lifted the Anticlone sticker I smudged some numbers! They rub off real easy.
Installed AKAIO.1.8.9 on my sd and it seems to work so I don't know. I guess I'll assume it's real.

Okay, does anyone know if www.kickgaming.com is reliable? I've been looking at an R4i SDHC, but it seems the Acekard 2i has better compatibility. Are they to be trusted, or should I just get the R4i?

I have a stupid question here.

I bought an AK2i from V2Watch.com and I can't get the anti-counterfeit code to check out. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the card is fake. Are you supposed to put spaces between each number set, or are you supposed to type them all together?

Also, I have another, more important question: when I peeled off the sticker, I notice a all of the digits are backwards (numbers are all facing the wrong way). I figure this could be a quirk of Chinese manufacturers not being familiar with English numbers, but it made me suspicious. Has anyone with a legitimate Acekard had that happen?

Lastly, it runs the latest firmware with no problem. I heard that the fake AK2i can't update, so I downloaded the Dsi firmware update and ran it on my DSL and it worked. Does that prove it's real? I don't actually own a DSi or a 3DS so I have no idea if it works in those consoles after the update or not, but the update went through with no error messages.
