What has bad contacts? My M3iZero works on my DSlite (both of them, I have two). My friend's DSi is working, it recognizes other games.

Your DSi might have bad contacts is what I meant.

Do you sometimes have trouble playing regular games on it?

Well with my Acekard 2i I never had contact issues in my DS lite. But I did with my DSi and my DSi never had contact issues with my M3 only Acekard 2i. I had to blow the Acekard 2i every time for it to work on my DSi.

Just wanted to mention I bought a new fuchsia (pink) DSi last week from a Best Buy in Canada and it came with SM 1.4 on it. I had to use my nephew's DS Phat to patch my Acekard2i.

Hello everyone, I'm new here... I'm a bit in a hurry so I hope you won't mind if I ask this... I'm intending to buy a black DSi from a guy via internet add today, it's fairly new (warranty untill june 2011) and I want to be able to make sure which firmware it has... As far as I know, linkers work with up to 1.4 firmware, how do I check which firmware is on? Also, is the 1.4 firmware the newest available, or are there newer ones that block linkers? We are meeting later today so I would greatly appreciate a fast answer! Btw, I'm from Europe and this is my first DS ever...

It's still a fake. Shoptemp might say they have no fakes, but they actually have a few R4 fakes.

i want to buy a dsi but if i buy one will a flash cart work in it or will it brick it if its got the new 1.4.1 installed on it already dont realy no that much about em apart from my daughter is stll playing on her original r4 and what cart is simple for kids and me lol thanks

what flash cart is the easy ist one to use for the dsi and if i do the 1.4.1 update in my daughters ds lite will it work in the dsi and if the new dsi has the 1.4.1 on it will the flash card with the update on it work the dsi and not cause it any problems help please any one

No. That means that the product is a fake (fake DS carts don't work on the DSi). Report it.

DS games aren't region-protected, but DSi-only games are.
DSi-enhanced (meaning DSi games that also work on a DS) are only protected on a DSi, not on a DS.
