Hacking YSMenu on R4i SDHC Dual Core 2015?

I'm going to buy this card tomorrow (http://www.r4isdhc.com/)

The problem is, I read the kernel this card uses isn't very good, and that it can't run Wood. However, I read that it could work with YSMenu. Which exact method would I have to do to not have any issues like bricking the card?

It's a bad idea to try a different kernel than the official one. It could get bricked.

You can dual-boot into ys menu without issues using the primary kernel along with Retro Game Fan's kernel files for www.r4i-sdhc.com cards. Yes the website is different than these but the 2014 and 2015 cards use the same kernel. See the sticky in this sub forum to get the files.
