How's Ys I & II and Oath in Felghana?

Oath in Felghana is good (it a based on Ys III)
like Celceta is based on Ys IV

i have not played the psp version of Ys I and II

Nayuta no Kiseki is a good Ys-like game. It's like an upgrade on Oath of Felghana.
It's from Falcom and has seasons, platforming, abilities and looks gorgeous on the PSP.
Too bad it's likely staying Japan-only and untranslated (like Zwei 2) being a spin-off of the Trails series which they ae already struggling to translate... but you should check it out. Aside from the sidequests, the language barrier is inexistent.

Only played Seven and this game so far. Maybe someone here can recommend a Steam title.

All the PSP Ys titles I thought were excellent with the exception of Ys1 and Ys2 compilation pack. They were pretty boring, dated and showed the 8 bit routes that they came from.

Ys Seven, Ys The Oath In Felghana and Ys The Ark Of Napishtim are all excellent titles and well worth playing through.

Im looking forward to the Vita version whenever I can get my hands on it.

Oath in Felgana is awesome. So is Ys Origins.

My heart is still aching over the fact I still have to wait a while for my copy to reach me.

This game looks interesting. I have not seen any reviews for it. How is the game? I like jrpgs, how does it compare to ones like final fantasy, the tales games, and persona?

How's Ys I & II and Oath in Felghana?

Oath in Felghana is awesome so far.
I put the game in Normal and boss battles are super hard.

You go through the basic enemies in the start and in the dungeon and might think "hey, this is easy!"
Then you reach the first boss and you get wrecked.

The Fact that hardly anyone has reviewed this game makes me thing of one of two things
1. Its an average game, not really bad but not really good just average or
2. It is really amazing but some how was missed by everyone.

Anyway until I hear more about this game I think I will wait.

Apparently review copies got sent out late which is why there are so little reviews.
