btw, if there is "left over english", like H.B. sound and stuff, its may be because some chararacters have been added with DLC in the japanese version (while they are ine the base game for EUR and USA release) so you may want to look in it
and for the president speach being messed up, maybe its because the files have been patched in the update? since dlc and update seem to have priority over base game files

so i think to have a perfect undub all package available should be checked, not just the base game

ps: if someone can give me a list of the english dub who dont have matching jap files, i could check if they are in the jap dlc (but im 98% sure they are)

ps2: sorry for my english "^^

I looked in the DLC (or at least what I believe to have been the DLC) of the Japanese version as well. What I assume the extra English files are, are instances where the English dialogue needed 1 more extra line, or something similar. What happens in those cutscenes is that there's just a line with no voice, and subtitles. From what I can remember it's only a handful of audio files. (Like maybe 10?)

As for the president speech, it's located in one of the event files (afair), and we have no way of modifying them right now. Basically, part of the presidents speech is "background music", and replacing the English version with the Japanese version of said file makes that whole cutscene have no sound effects.

What files do I need to revert for just the Uncensored version. I have a USB ready copy with both and only want the Uncensored patch. I can't seem to find it by itself.

If you don't want to get the whole Japanese game, get the Japanese game's chr_pc.cpk (I think it was this file. It's been a while xd), place it where it should be in terms of the folder structure of a full Japanese game, run the patch and untick everything other than the uncensoring and it should work fine. Alternatively just get the whole Japanese game, untick everything other than uncensoring and run it.

Honestly? I have no idea, and just seeing it crashing doesn't really tell me much either :P I'm also busy with exams and other things to really have time to figure it out, so unless you're looking to do something specific, your best bet might just be to find the game somewhere pre-patched (or try with another computer).

Just to clarify, I have US,EU and JP versions of the game. I have read the tutorial on page 23, so I think I know what to do.

Just to double check, once I have edited the base game, do I install the update or the dlc? Or what do I do with the update and dlc?

I read on a different site that the US and EU versions already have the DLC, is that true?

The guide says the uncensored version runs fine with 1.02 version, but do I install the base undubbed game then the normal dlc? Just really confused about that step.

I want the chest slider, just for fun, how can I make sure my game has the chest slider, I read most of the comments and it says to start with the base japanese game, and you'll keep the chest slider.

So just some help please, thank you.

The US/EU version comes with the DLC, yes. You don't have to install any DLC to the US/EU version.

The chest slider is only in the Japanese game unfortunately, so you would have to use that version and transfer the save file (both games use the same save file iirc), or use some other tool.

Hi all, just made an account to comment and see how I can get this to work.

As I understand, I need to have both physical copies of EU/NA and JP versions of XCX for this mod to work?

"physical", but yes, you need a copy of both versions.

@CXu

From event log on why the program is crashing, perhaps the Fault offset can help in a debugger. This was ran on Creators Update x64 if that makes a difference. Visiably it was the same as Luxor53's, just saw hour glass and nothing appeared.

@Luxor53 can you check Event Viewer's Application Log for that day and time you launched it, or relaunch it and see if it shows the above errors?

So I just wanna check if it's not me, but it seems like the grunts the characters make when they jump are still in English. Curious as to where their sound files actually are. Reminds me of Smash Bros Brawl or One Piece Unlimited Adventure/Cruise where the voice clips for their stuff were in a brsar file. Just had nostalgia about that haha.

And is it just me, or do Soul Voices sometimes not play at all during battle?

EDIT: Ah, someone pointed out pages back of the missed things, no biggie. I'll probably stick with the English voices and just uncensor it, cause IMO, the English voices aren't as bad as Xenoblade 2's, haha.

Is there anyone here that can give me a quick tutorial teaching how can I change the fonts of the game? I read the first post, but I have never done any mod to any Wii U game so I don't know from where I should start.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.
