Do you have items in the section you are checking? It can't cache what isn't there.

Check your backup region and the offset that you have selected beside Wii U connection

Like im trying to add rock armadillos so i can complete the skell exam.

Pick a slot with an item you wont miss, then overwrite that slot with the item of your choice.

I try to but every single slot is empty or greyed out.

Just added a very useful feature to github: be able to scan for the code offset live, using an interface very similar to Gecko dotNet or JGeckoU.

Send me a PM if you find any bugs.

But please don't PM me if you don't understand how to use it, or how to run the github python code; reply on this thread instead for those questions.

(Also, there's a preliminary version of #FEGecko in the repo as well, with some codes for the US version )

Weird about #FE; I've tested across multiple reboots. My setup is 5.3.2 + loadiine v3 + pygecko + US version.

If you have US/EU version, try widening scan range to 49000000-4A000000 (initial scan will take longer though). If you have JP version, look for Mis Joker's post in the cheat codes thread to determine an approx range (I remember it being 4EXXXXXX I think).

Still isn't working. But maybe it's because I'm using Loadiine GX2 + 5.5.1 + loadiine gx2 + pygecko+ US version. Guess someone else has to test it to. Wonder if it's just me.

Whenever I try to load a database, I always get this error:

"Failed to parse Item ID DB on line 4: invalid literal for int() with base 16: 'Max'"

Or something along those lines for the other txts.

If I modify weapon slot 001 to be a set level 60 weapon, is it possible to actually reduce the level of said item to, for example, 20?

If anyone's confused at my question: I modified my slot 001 on my second save file to the Delta Bliss, but it's a level 60 weapon and I don't feel like playing through Chapters 5+ as a level 60 to mess around with the Delta Bliss. I'd love to reduce it's required level down to 20, which is around the level that I'm currently at.

No, you can't change a weapon's level.
But you could use a lower level bliss.

Not really. All weapons data is separated by 0x08, and the regular versions of each weapon appear three times for some reason. 0000 is none, 0008, 0010, 0018 are the same, etc. Worn and Advanced each appear once for each weapon.
