I am finally, finally finished with converting and installing games. Finally.

I've quite literally done practically nothing else since last Friday evening, aside from converting, copying and installing .cia files.

Kid Icarus was the worst of the lot. I probably spent more than 6 hours trying to get just that one game to work.

Now that I have succeeded, I will probably forget all about my 3DS within a week, and it will go back to collecting dust.

Still. A victory is a victory.

Your sd card must be pretty big, isn't it? :P

32GB. I still have over 4GB left, even with all this installed. I have about ten games on my actual Gateway card (also 32GB), mostly the huge ones like Resident Evil - Revelations, Bravely Default and Donkey Kong Country Returns. It was pure hell getting Kid Icarus to work; I don't have the patience to try this with any games larger than 1.6GB.

No StarFox 64 did not work for me, it just freezes at the 3ds screen. :(

I sat here and just converted three different .cia files for Star Fox 64 3D (U).

I did the Express version first, with no edits. That failed; froze on the Nintendo 3DS logo screen. Trying the next one, which was converted using a custom .rsf file with the SaveDataSize set to 1M. If that fails, I have one final converted .cia file that was made with the SaveDataSize set to 128KB.

If I can't get it to work after this many fresh attempts, using the latest QuenoPack, then I give up.


Edit - Second attempt failed. One more try, and then I am done. Done, done, done.

Sure. Get the QuenoPack v4.6.5 from the post linked on the original topic.

When you get your xorpads and rom.3ds file in the proper folders, use the 'decrypt and make.bat' to start the conversion.

I selected 'N' for Region Spoofing, 'Y' for Region Unlock, 'Y' for Manual Installation, then chose option 3 when it prompted me asking what I wanted to do for the .rsf file generation. Then I selected the .rsf file I posted above. A few minutes later, success.

When you get your xorpads and rom.3ds file in the proper folders, use the 'decrypt and make.bat' to start the conversion.

I had to inject my own .rsf file for Shantae to work properly, although it keeps prompting me that it has an update available. The only edit you need to make is for the SaveDataSize.

Thanks for your answer, if dont bother u, could you show me your .rsf for shantae, thanks in advance.

I no longer have it. QuenoPack v4.6.5 generates the only thing you really need; the exheader.txt file that shows you the SaveDataSize.

That's the only thing you need to edit.

I can't get it to work either. Trying the European version now. Fingers Crossed. BTW, I cannot get Disney's Magical World or Pokemon Rumble Blast to work either. Both are US roms.

EDIT: No luck on Star Fox. Gives me the "Error Has Occurred" screen. The guy who got the Star Fox to run, if you have an RSF file, could you upload it?

EDIT 2: Magical World is working! Using Queno Pack 4.6.5

EDIT 3: Pokemon Rumble Blast working as well. May as well put that one on the list as I didn't see it on there.

Who got starfox64 working?, I could not get it working, got sonic lost world working but SF64, no go it just freezes up on me everytime on the 3ds logo.
