i think that this doesnt matter here but it boots fine on m3dsreal,but freezes when loading a game

With a bit of editing we can get this on M3 i think.
Norrmatt also said it wouldnt be so hard

the version that boots fine on m3dsreal is the r4li version,but freezes when launching a game

It worked perfectly on my R4III-upgrade. All the saves worked as well after renaming them. Great Work!

Can you save your games?

Possibly the .sav is not created with WoodR4 or the sav has been loaded from official kernel.

#Once the sav is loaded from official kernel you can use the sav in WoodR4

sav is filled with 0xff (even with this, the sav won't work until used with R4SDHC kernel)

This is awesome! I used the first link, and it works on my R4SDHC from r4sdhc.com.

I changed a save from one game to .nds.sav and it loaded my old file successfully, but I cannot get Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey to start up at all. It says immediately "Could not access the data, Turn the power OFF and reinsert the DS Card." I've tried patched and unpatched versions, and I have .sav and .nds.sav files on the root.

Anyone get this game to run or have any suggestions on what to do here? Thanks.

exactly.but hopefully someone with more programming knowledge will fix this.

Please note i know this is not made to work on clones like mine, but i still wanted to let you know it boots up on my r4i gold, i see icons, no text though.

just thought i throw it out there, maybe you can get it working even better ^^

Thats gonna happen on every cart that isnt an R4 clone

I have an R4sdhc and get the same folder icons but no text problem on my 8GB card. But if I use a 128mb card it works great. Any idea?
