Misc With the 022-2812 ban can you get software spotpass

if you have 022-2812 ban can you get software through spotpass eg yokai watch 2 demo click on it says go to eshop , i did receive the yokai watch 2 one just this minute does this mean im not banned , if so im going to 11.3
also please reply with info - i was banned for pirating games using maki fbi

No, as it'll give you an error when it tries to connect to the eShop. Pirating games via FBI is irrelevant. You were most likely banned for playing Sun/Moon before the official release date as no one has been banned (ever) for using FBI alone.

There were two different error codes for bans around the Sun/Moon leak. They were 022-2812 (eShop ban) and 002-0102 (Sun/Moon game ban). You're still banned. You can't get banned for pirating games. Updating to 11.3 won't fix your issue either, and if you don't have custom firmware, you will screw yourself over if you update.
