Is it possible to retrieve WiiWare titles that are no longer listed on the WiiShop like it is to do with DSiWare games through TMD? I'm saying, for example, Grill Off with Ultra Hand...

Grill-Off in particular was a Club Nintendo giveaway. I don't think there's any way to get a ticket for it anymore.

NUSDownloader would get you the app files but you'd need a shop ticket to decrypt it.

Is there a way to check NUSDownloader's library before installing it?

No, but there are full archives of the wii shop (NTSC at least) and people are working on it. So you don't need to worry about losing any titles.

Uh there is nothing like that for the wii. You have to actually buy them. You can actually download them all with NUS downloader but the result is worthless because the file is encrypted and you need the decryption key.

The Wii shop works the same way as the Wii U and 3DS shops. You need the title key that's in the ticket to decrypt the content. Nobody ever bothered to make a key database for the Wii.

Do you think that with the Wii Shop closing efforts might be made? I'm trying to preserve the following titles. Once the WiiShop closes, they won't be accessible. Some of these titles have also been taken off of the WiiShop, so there's no way to preserve them either, I take it?

I have pretty much every game preserved, but I'm not giving out any links because it's against the rules here. Just remember that they won't be lost forever once it's shut down.

Here's our blog post about what we've done to preserve the Wii Shop Channel.

That's awesome! Thank you so much for responding. Will these be available to play on a Dolphin emulator?
