Android Wiiremote help please..

Hi..im.very annyoyed by this.
Why the heck can't i connect my wii remote to my android phone. I have a samsung galaxy core prime running android 5.1.1 rooted.
The wiiremote app tells me that no wiimotes found. I have the newst model of the wii remote and i thini thats why its not being detected
My wiimote is rvl 01 cnt tr model
What can i do. Any app that requires root will fix this?

If I remember the new bluetooth stack in thr last versions of Android doesn't support wiimotes. CM does support them I think because they built their bluetooth stack from scratch.
