Is there a ticket.db for wii u, just like with the 3ds?
If so, I think I can just keep a backup of my original/unmodified ticket.db and replace the modified one whenever I want to purchase games or dlc...

No not a ticket.db but a similar system, get tik2sd and you will see the layout specific to your wii u

Having some trouble getting NUSGrabber to work. I'm on a win 7 64bit machine. I've installed Visual Studio C++, both 86 and 64 bit versions. Any help and advise on this will be very much appreciated, thanks in advance guys

So using Haxchi is the only way of getting into Home brew without having to use the browser every time? I've purchased a ds game off eshop already. I dont mind but Im just curious. It says not to delete, move, reinstall the ds game/Haxchi but what if I need to take the console back for warrenty repair, is there any way of putting the machine back to factory settings? Im not too bothered about the wiiu i picked up the other day but, we bought one of my daughters a wiiu at Christmas and she wants it modding so she can play backups of an external hdd. I just go for the Brazilian method on hers father than do the Haxchi mod.............just in case. What do you guys think? Any advice would be much appreciated

Yes, Haxchi/CBHC or Browser.

If you're running CBHC, you must disable the autoboot and reboot before you reinstall the regular title, but yes, you can do it. The Haxchi thread would be a better place to look for opinions and Haxchi advice, but I like the combination of Brazilian (valid tickets) for most things, and Haxchi for sigpatch requirements.

It's perfectly safe to arrange your USB installed games into different folders. You're actually not moving them, just displaying them in an organized way.
