I just got my Wii U, Its on firmware version 2.1.0u.

I'm fucked aren't I. Are there any ways to install wii u mode homebrew or exploits for this version? If not ill just update and wait for a new exploit...

There isn't much you can do with the userland exploit currently, and no real homebrew has been made. A kernel exploit is being worked on to allow for a number of things such as game mods.

Not according to reports, the version on the disc is 5.2.0, which is weird because the Amiibo functionality is in 5.3.0, I guess they wanted the Gamecube functionality working and that must be what's in 5.2.0.
