Hello!

I'm fairly new to Homebrew but have an R4 that works seamlessly & just yesterday got VC/WW installed on my Wii.

So now I'd like to go a step further & learn how to get GC/Wii games running.

I could use my SD card (2gb), a 1gb Memory Stick or 8gb MicroSD (With adapter for SD Slot).

But I expect GC/Wii files to be pretty big, so I'm guessing it'll only store a few at most.

So what I'd like to learn:

- The file types (& file sizes)

- The way to boot them (I'd guess through the Homebrew Channel?)

- Any restrictions?

- Still a need for a gc Memory Card? (I've not got one.) If not what do I use instead?

That's about it really.

And if it' important: I'm on a 4.1 Wii in Europe (so it's PaL)
And unfortunately, my Wii's outta' Memory after WW/VC installs from yesterday. So it may be tricky to install.

Oh, while I'm here, I'd like to know a few things about the WADs for VC/WW.

Y'see now I'm out of internal Wii memory, I've ordered an 8gb MicroSD of the 'net to be used for storing them all the other games that I'll be getting

So I'm intending to use my current SD to install WADs & store Homebrew Stuff & use the MicroSD just for storing the games.

So I'm okay to use the 8gb MicroSD for these games to be stored on?

THey should be stored just like normal downloads from the Wii Shopping Channel then?

Hope it works! (I'll cross my fingers that it'd be okay.)

If you're wii is out of memory due to those VC/WW games, i suggest you move them to your SD card...
( i think you've got to have IOS60 or cIOS60 installed, i forgot which one)

Oh yeah try this

Also, you can't run gamecube games off an SD card (yet) just wii games. You'll probably only be able to store at most 5 games on the 8 GB micro sd.
